Linen, Wrapped by Hand

Both the column and the shade are dressed in a linen-effect fabric with a visibly woven, tactile surface — the opposite of the glossy, mass-produced finish so many floor lamps default to. The cream tone shifts gently with the light in the room, and the fabric wrap continues seamlessly from base to shade, giving the piece its uninterrupted, monolithic look.

Switched on, the shade diffuses light up and out rather than casting it directly — a soft, ambient glow rather than a task light. The fixture takes a standard E27 bulb of your choosing, so you decide the mood: a warm 2700–3000K bulb for candlelight softness, or a cooler tone if you prefer more clarity.
