DESCRIPTION
Solid ash wood, turned by hand into six distinct silhouettes — a tilted cylinder, a slender cone, a wide taper, a teardrop — then hung together at uneven heights, like a constellation over the table.
One Wood, Six Silhouettes
Larven begins with a single block of solid ash and a woodturner's lathe. Rather than repeat one shade, the collection carves six different forms — some straight-sided, some canted at an angle, some tapering to a narrow throat — so that no two pendants in a cluster ever quite match. Every surface keeps its natural grain, sanded smooth and left to read as wood rather than imitation.
From One Light to Six
Choose a single pendant for a reading corner or bedside, or step up to a multi-head configuration — 2, 3, 5 or 6 shades gathered on one horizontal timber beam or a round ceiling canopy. Each added head draws from the same family of shapes, so a six-head installation reads as a considered composition rather than a repeated pattern.
Linear or Round
The 3 and 5-head versions are offered on a linear timber beam or a round canopy, depending on the room: a beam suits a long dining table or kitchen island, while the round canopy gathers the shades into a single downward-cascading cluster, better suited to a round table or an open corner.
Three Finishes
Dark Wood, Light Wood and Black — each finish is applied over the same solid-ash construction, so the grain remains visible beneath a matte black stain as much as under natural oil. The interior of every shade stays open and unfinished, letting the warm light spill out at the wood's true tone.
Considered Detail
Cords run in black fabric-braided cable to a shared timber beam or round canopy, with 150 cm of adjustable drop per head so each shade can be set at its own height. Integrated LED modules draw 5W per head, warm white, for a soft glow rather than a task light.
