A Sky Indoors

Fjordel is built around a single idea: light in a child's room shouldn't just illuminate, it should set a mood. A softly edge-lit outline frames a sculpted cluster of rounded white forms at its centre, with one or several elements suspended below on near-invisible cords. The effect reads less like a fixture and more like weather caught mid-drift, paused just above the bed.

Four Ways to Read the Sky

Fjordel comes in four distinct silhouettes, so you can choose the read that suits the room: a cloud-edged frame with three cascading orbs for a fuller, more theatrical presence; a wavy halo ring with a single floating sphere for something quieter; a clean circular ring with a single sphere for a more minimal read; or a cloud-edged frame with three cascading cloud-shaped drops for the most literal, storybook version. Every version shares the same soft, edge-lit glow and sculpted central cluster — only the outer frame and the hanging element change.

Light That Adapts to the Evening

Each design is available in two lighting behaviours. The 3-Step CCT version cycles between warm, neutral, and cool white at the flick of a switch — simple and dependable. The Remote Dimming version goes further, with full-range brightness control and continuously adjustable colour temperature from an included remote, so the room can shift gradually from an alert daytime white to a dim, amber-toned glow at bedtime.

Built to Live in a Child's Room

The frame is a painted wrought-iron structure; the sculpted cluster and pendant forms are rotomoulded PE — a durable, easy-to-clean material that resists yellowing and marking, chosen deliberately for rooms where little hands reach. The LEDs are fully integrated, so there are no bulbs to change over the fixture's lifetime. Best suited to rooms of roughly 10-15 m² (108-160 sq ft) — nurseries, children's bedrooms, and playrooms where a gentle, ambient glow matters as much as the light itself.
