The sconce with ears

Descendra is exactly what it appears to be: a round dome sconce with two small spherical ears, mounted on a natural wood backplate. The resin dome — in green, white, grey, or pink — opens at the base to throw light downward into the room. It is designed for children's rooms, but its macaron palette and minimal form make it equally at home in a playful adult bedroom or a design-forward nursery.

Material and light

The dome is cast in smooth painted iron, the backplate in natural oak. Each fixture ships complete with an E27 LED bulb, available in warm white (2700-3500K) for a cosy amber glow or cool white (5500-7000K) for a brighter, more focused light. Because the dome is open at the base, the light emerges as a gentle downward wash rather than a diffused glow, keeping the room around it in a pleasant, warm shadow. The head tilts on an adjustable joint, so the beam can be aimed exactly where it's needed.
