The Orbilux Sphere

Orbilux's form is borrowed directly from the great Italian and Scandinavian lighting archives of the 1960s: a large white orbilux glass sphere, perfectly round, mounted on a chrome tubular stem that rises from a flat chrome disc base. The orbilux glass is dense enough to eliminate the bulb completely, producing an even, luminous glow across the entire surface of the sphere.

Matte Black or Ivory White

The Matte Black version makes the chrome and opal globe float against dark interiors — against exposed brick, dark shelving, or charcoal painted walls. The Ivory White version disappears into all-white interiors, leaving only the warm glow, almost as if the orb exists independent of any structure.
