A soft arch of matte ivory, poised on a disc of solid walnut — light held like a quiet gesture.
A Quiet Architecture of Light
Belroven takes the simplest of forms — an arched dome — and gives it weight and warmth. The shade wears a matte ivory finish, faintly irregular at its base and smooth toward the crown, echoing the unglazed stillness of Japanese mingei ware. Behind it, a disc of solid walnut anchors the piece to the wall, joined by a small brass hinge that lets the dome tilt exactly where the light is needed.
Two Silhouettes, One Sensibility
Choose the Oval Backplate for a slim, streamlined profile that sits close and quiet against the wall — 19 cm from wall to shade face, on an elongated 24 cm walnut oval. Or choose the Round Backplate & Finial, its brass rod fully exposed and a small walnut sphere resting atop the dome like a punctuation mark — a more sculptural, collected read. Both share the same 12–13 cm wide shade and the same warm materiality; only the gesture changes.
Or Let It Hang
The same dome, released from the wall: as a Pendant, Belroven drops from a round walnut ceiling canopy on a black braided cord, finished with a hand-turned wood bead pull. Hung low over a nightstand or along a stairwell run, it reads as a single warm note suspended in the room.
Warmth You Can Tune
Every format ships with a choice of three light temperatures — warm, neutral or cool white — so the glow can match the room rather than the other way around. Wired for a single E27 LED bulb (not included, not dimmable), on a universal 90–260V circuit with a discreet touch on/off switch at the base.
Where It Belongs
Beside a bed, at the turn of a corridor, or in a reading nook — Belroven wants a plain wall behind it, plaster or painted white, so the walnut and brass can do the talking.
