Some pendant lights simply illuminate a room. The Basilor does something rarer — it turns the ceiling into architecture. Its ribbed, tiered silhouette draws directly from the great domes of Baroque cathedrals, each vertical rib and lantern-top detail cast with the kind of patience usually reserved for buildings, not light fixtures. Hung low over a table or centred in an entryway, it reads less like a lamp and more like a fragment of a monument brought indoors.
A Golden Glow From Within
Look up beneath the dome and the surprise reveals itself: an interior finished in warm gold leaf, catching and scattering the light in a soft amber wash. By day it stands as a sculptural white or black form; by evening it becomes a quiet source of golden light, the kind that makes a dining table or a lounge corner feel considerably more considered.
Two Finishes: Chalk White or Matte Black
The Basilor comes in two restrained exteriors — a chalk white that reads like bright plasterwork, and a matte black that leans theatrical, almost gothic. Both share the same gilded interior, so the choice comes down to the mood of the room: airy and luminous, or dramatic and grounded.
Light Tuned to the Room
Choose from Warm White, Cool White, Neutral White, or a colour-changing setting for evenings that call for something more expressive. A simple push-button switch moves between them, keeping the control as understated as the fixture itself.
A Single Size, Built to Command a Room
At 45 cm in diameter and 45 cm in height, the Basilor is sized to be noticed — ideal above a dining table, centred in a restaurant or hotel lobby, or as the anchor piece of an entrance hall. It suits rooms of roughly 15 to 30 square metres, with an adjustable cord to set the exact drop.
Built for Everyday Use
Beneath the ornament is a straightforward iron construction wired for universal 90–260V current, so it installs and runs anywhere in the world. It ships with its LED light source included, ready to hang from a ceiling canopy and cord suspension. The detail is decorative; the engineering is not.
