The Architecture of Light
Urix builds its glow from a cube of parchment held inside a scaffolding frame of slim steel and aluminum rods, cross-braced like a piece of drafting equipment. Nothing is hidden: the joints, the clamps, the structure that holds the shade in place are all left in full view, because the making of the thing is part of its beauty. It is a lamp that behaves like a small piece of architecture rather than a decorative object.
A Cube of Parchment
Inside the frame, four parchment panels diffuse the light into a warm, even glow rather than a single point of brightness. The material has a soft, fibrous texture that reads as paper and linen at once — translucent enough to let the light spread, dense enough to soften it. At night, the cube becomes a quiet lantern; the surrounding scaffolding casts fine linear shadows across the walls.
Three Forms, One Idea
Urix exists as a floor lamp, a table lamp, and a pendant, each built on the same visual language of exposed steel and parchment. Use it as a floor lamp to anchor a reading corner, as a table lamp to warm a console or nightstand, or as a pendant with an adjustable 150cm cable to hang low over a dining table. Three functions, one aesthetic — choose the form that fits the room.
