A Quiet Anchor for the Wall

Vaelorin holds its place with the quiet confidence of a well-made object. Cut from a single sweeping oval, the walnut body curves and opens into an arch, cradling an amber shade at its crown. It is a light designed for the corners you return to—the wall beside the bed, the turn in a hallway, the reading nook where evenings slow down.

Fluted Glass, Warmed by Light

The shade is ribbed amber glass, its vertical pleats catching and softening every ray that passes through. Lit, it glows like a paper lantern left to warm a room; unlit, it reads as sculpture—a solid, honeyed form against dark wood. The effect is deliberate: light that pools rather than floods, ideal for the hours before sleep.

A Shelf Built Into the Form

Where the oval opens into its arch, a slim walnut ledge appears—just wide enough for a candle, a small book, or the glasses you set down each night. It is a detail that turns a light fixture into a small piece of furniture, quietly useful without asking for extra wall space.

Solid Walnut, Finished to Last

The body is worked in walnut wood, its grain left visible beneath a warm, hand-finished stain. A brass toggle switch sits low on the panel, a small bright note against the dark timber—the kind of detail that rewards a second look and only grows more handsome with age.

Sized for Bedside and Beyond

At 21 cm wide, 17 cm deep and 40 cm tall, Vaelorin is proportioned for intimate spaces—beside a headboard, along a corridor, anchoring a reading chair. Fitted with a single E27 socket, it pairs beautifully with a warm white 2700–3000K bulb to complete the honeyed glow the amber glass was designed to carry.
