The Jovaris takes its cue from wabi-sabi — the quiet beauty of the handmade and the irregular. Its shade and column are wrapped in crinkled DuPont paper over a slender metal frame, so that no two folds catch the light in quite the same way. It reads less like a fixture and more like a paper lantern that wandered in from another century, softened for a modern room.

Crumpled by Hand, Warmed from Within

Each shade is hand-crumpled before it is fitted to its frame, giving the surface a natural, almost geological texture — closer to bark or worn stone than to fabric. Lit from within, the ridges and folds throw gentle shadows across the paper, so the lamp looks different switched on than off, and different again from every angle.

A Gentle, Enveloping Glow

The wide conical shade directs light both up and down, filling a room with a soft, diffused warmth rather than a single hard beam. It's the kind of light that suits the end of the day — beside a sofa, over a console, or anchoring a bedroom corner — never clinical, always inviting.

Three Sizes, One Silhouette

The Jovaris comes in three proportions built from the same design language. Small (Ø50 × H51cm) suits a bedside table or a narrow console. Medium (Ø75 × H76cm) makes a real statement on a sideboard or dining table. Large (Ø75 × H155cm) stands freely on the floor, filling a corner the way a piece of sculpture would.

Effortless to Place

Freestanding and cordless in spirit if not in fact — there's no wiring, no mounting, just position and plug in. Each Jovaris takes a single standard E27 bulb (included), runs on universal 90–260V current, and is switched on with a simple inline push button. Built to look as considered in five years as it does on day one.
