Two Lights, One Considered Form
Medivorn holds two distinct sources of light within a single sculptural silhouette: a softly diffused glass globe that fills the room with ambient warmth, and an independently rotating spotlight, clad in solid wood, that directs a focused beam exactly where it's needed. Built for the bedside, the reading corner, or the quiet threshold of an entryway, it performs two jobs at once — mood and function — without ever feeling cluttered.
Cut From Natural Travertine
The backplate is hand-finished in natural yellow travertine, prized for its warm, sandy tone and the small pits and veining that occur only in real stone. As with all natural materials, each piece carries its own markings — a quiet echo of wabi-sabi, the philosophy that finds beauty in imperfection and the passage of time. No two sconces are ever quite identical.
A Spotlight That Follows You
Mounted low on the stone face, the wood-clad spotlight rotates a full 360°, tilting to wash the wall in a soft pool of light or angling down to illuminate a page, a doorway, or a favourite object on the nightstand. It's a small mechanical detail that makes the whole fixture feel considered rather than purely decorative.
Two Silhouettes
Medivorn comes in two forms. The tall oval reads as a soft, elongated capsule — 10 cm wide and 30 cm high, suited to narrow walls and vertical emphasis. The rectangular version is more compact and architectural, 16 cm wide and 23 cm high, ideal where a lower, broader profile is wanted. Both share the same dual-light logic; only the geometry changes.
Warm Wood, Two Ways
The spotlight arm is offered in two finishes — a pale natural wood that echoes the travertine's warmth, or a deeper walnut that grounds the piece in contrast. Both are solid wood, left with a simple oiled finish that will deepen gently with age.
Considered Installation
Each sconce is hardwired for a clean, cordless installation and runs on a universal 90–260V circuit. The globe accepts a single E27 bulb; the spotlight, a single G9 — both sold separately, so you can choose your own warm white glow.
