The Wsaelindra pendant begins as coils of hemp rope, wound by hand around a steel frame until they form a wide, tent-shaped canopy — then finished with a cascading skirt of soft cotton tassels that catches every draft in the room. It's less a light fixture than a piece of textile sculpture that happens to glow.
Fringe that moves with the room
The tasseled hem isn't decoration for its own sake — it's what gives the piece its dimension. Each cotton tassel is knotted individually, so light escapes unevenly through the fringe, casting the kind of soft, flickering warmth a hard shade never could. Beneath the rope canopy, the E27 bulb sits low and slightly hidden, visible only as a warm glow diffused through the weave.
Hemp rope, hand-wound
Every thread of the dome is pure hemp rope, coiled tightly by hand over a metal armature — no two pendants are wound in quite the same way, so slight variations in the fiber are part of the character, not a flaw.
