Xoluxen holds two material worlds in a single gesture. Above, a turned cap in a rich walnut finish sits like a quiet crown — warm, grounded, tactile. Below, hundreds of individually formed crystal-effect droplets cascade from the shade's edge, catching every point of light and scattering it into small constellations across the ceiling and walls nearby. The result reads as theatre: a chandelier, distilled into a single pendant.
Two Materials, One Gesture
The walnut-finish cap and connecting spheres bring warmth and craft to what is, underneath, a precise piece of lighting engineering. Their rounded silhouette softens the drama of the shade beneath, so the fixture never reads as cold or purely decorative — it feels considered, the way a well-made piece of furniture does.
A Chandelier by Another Name
The shade itself is where Xoluxen earns its presence: a dense skirt of faceted, glass-like crystal droplets, each one catching the light source and refracting it outward. Lit, the droplets shimmer and pool light across nearby surfaces in a way flat shades simply can't. Unlit, they still read as sculpture — an object worth looking at even in daylight, at just 21 cm across.
