The articulated classic

Svrix is a direct descendent of the vintage industrial tradition — the French workshop lamp adapted for domestic use. Two powder-coated iron arms connect through ball joints at the wall bracket and at the elbow, allowing the shade to be positioned anywhere within a wide radius of the wall mount. The dome shade, matte black outside and brushed gold inside, focuses and warms the light it directs. The wire guard at the shade opening adds an industrial note without softening the functionality.

Position it precisely

Unlike fixed wall sconces, Svrix follows the work — or the book, or the bed. Install it over a bedside and swing it over the mattress for reading; push it flat against the wall when sleeping. Mount it in a home studio and direct it at a drawing board or easel. The joints hold their position under normal use without ratchets or locking mechanisms — the friction of the connections is sufficient for static positioning.

The light

The gold interior of the shade reflects warm amber light — a quality that makes reading and drawing comfortable without the cold cast of a blue-shifted source. An E14 socket accepts any standard bulb, and Svrix ships in your choice of warm or cool white for the fitted LED.
