A hand-finished glass dome and a black Victorian fitting — the ceiling light that feels like it was always there.
The Glass Dome
Nostrum mounts a glass dome to the ceiling via a small black Victorian-style metal fitting: a turned base with a decorative ring that cradles the shade from below. Each dome sits inverted, widening outward like a small bell or an upturned blossom, catching and softening the glow of a single filament bulb within. The collection spans twelve sculptural silhouettes — fluted, ribbed, scalloped, diamond-cut, and swirled — cast almost entirely in clear crystal glass, with one design also offered in a soft sage-green tint.

Where to Use
In an entrance hall, bathroom, or bedroom corridor where a compact decorative ceiling light is needed. In a vintage or transitional interior where the period detail of the black fitting complements antique or reclaimed elements. Each shade ranges from a compact 14cm silhouette to a dramatic 30cm ruffled dome, so scale can be matched to the room.
Fitting & Use
Nostrum takes a single E27 bulb (not included) on a universal 90–260V circuit — a warm 2700K filament LED brings out the fluting and ribbing of the glass best. Fixed brightness, no dimming, surface-mounted directly to the ceiling.
