Petravo begins with a single gesture: a wide, shallow dome of yellow travertine, its surface marked by the pitting and veining that only natural stone can produce. No two shades emerge identical—each carries its own quiet topography of mineral history, cut and finished rather than manufactured to sameness. Suspended from a slender black cord, the dome seems to float, its weight belied by the lightness of its silhouette.
Warmth Beneath the Weight of Travertine
Where the stone ends, a collar in warm walnut-toned wood takes over, cinching the composition and softening the transition from cool mineral to glowing light. It is a deliberate pairing—the raw, sedimentary texture of travertine set against the grain and warmth of wood—two natural materials in conversation, neither competing for attention.
The Glow of an Opal Moon
Cradled beneath the collar, an opal white glass globe holds the light source, diffusing it into a soft, even sphere of warm white glow.
