A cone of wood in flight — each slat a blade, together a spiral.

Selraith is built from many thin flat wood slats, each one radiating outward from the centre of the cone in a spiral arrangement — like the arms of a pinwheel frozen at the moment of turning. The slats are angled so the interior of the cone is warm amber when lit: the light falls between each blade and outward in an interrupted pattern onto the table below. From above, the fixture reads as an abstract geometric form; from below, it glows with the warmth of natural wood grain. A pendant that rewards looking at from every angle.
