The Lantern, Recast in Iron
The Kestral takes the language of the classic exterior lantern — vertical lines, a glowing core, sheltered light — and rebuilds it in blackened iron and frosted acrylic. What emerges is unmistakably architectural: a cage of geometric bars wrapping a softly lit column, built to stand at a door, along a facade, or beside a garden path.
Engineered for the Outdoors
Every Kestral is built as a weather-ready fixture — a waterproof, self-contained design suited to open-air walls, porches, courtyards and balconies. The iron construction and matte black finish are chosen specifically to withstand rain, sun and seasonal change without losing their edge.
Iron Frame, Acrylic Glow
The body is cast in solid iron, finished in a deep matte black that resists fading and corrosion. Within it, a frosted acrylic diffuser wraps the light source, softening the beam into a warm, even wash rather than a single glaring point — flattering to brick, stucco, timber and stone alike.
One Socket, Your Choice of Warmth
The Kestral is fitted with a standard E27 socket (bulb not included), so you choose the exact mood — a warm 2700K glow for a traditional courtyard, or a crisper daylight tone for a more contemporary facade. Wired for standard 90–260V circuits, it installs cleanly onto any wall junction box.
Compact, Considered Proportions
At 15 × 18 × 31cm, the Kestral is sized to flank a door or line a pathway without overwhelming it — substantial enough to read as a design object by day, luminous enough to guide the way home after dark.
Built to Outlast the Seasons
