The Solvex is a disc pendant built on a single idea: deliver a clean wash of downlight from a shape that almost disappears. Inspired by the same minimal geometry as icons from premier lighting brands and Muuto, it presents a shallow aluminum disc — perfectly proportioned, softly tapered at the edge — with an integrated LED panel recessed into the underside. The result is a fixture that lights without shouting.

Form That Holds Up Under Scrutiny

Every detail of the Solvex is resolved. The disc transitions from matte colour on top to a white interior that reflects and distributes light evenly. The slender stem and canopy repeat the same matte finish, keeping the visual language consistent from ceiling to shade. In Black, it reads as a minimal graphic element. In White or Light Gray, it recedes into the room and lets the light itself take center stage. Green and Orange add a considered colour note for spaces that welcome it.

Three Sizes for Every Situation

The Solvex is available in three diameters — 25cm, 35cm, and 45cm. A single 25cm unit works over a small bistro table, bedside surface, or desk. The 35cm is the workhorse: the right scale for a standard dining table or kitchen counter. Three 45cm discs hung at staggered heights above a long table turn a functional run of pendants into a considered installation.

Light That Pools, Not Scatters

The integrated LED panel directs light downward in a controlled pool, giving the Solvex a precise quality that suits task-focused spaces and intimate dining alike. The shallow disc catches no ambient light from above — it only gives light below. This makes it exceptionally effective at defining a zone within a larger open-plan space without requiring a partition or enclosure.

Warm to Cool, On Demand

Each Solvex ships with a small handheld remote that switches the integrated LED between warm white, neutral white, cold white, or a slow cycle through all three — so the same fixture can anchor a relaxed dinner and then shift to a crisper tone for focused work, without changing the bulb or the mood twice.

Where the Solvex Excels

Over a dining table it creates an island of warm light that separates the meal from the rest of the room. Above a kitchen island it delivers functional brightness without the visual weight of a linear pendant. In a bedroom it adds focus without heat. In an office, a single unit over a workstation marks the space as intentional. The Solvex performs wherever precision matters more than spectacle.

Installation

The Solvex is hardwired and suspends from a standard ceiling junction box via an adjustable cord (max 1.5m drop). The integrated LED requires no bulb replacement. Compatible with 90–260V systems worldwide. We recommend installation by a qualified electrician.
