DESCRIPTION
Three Rings, One Gesture
Maelrix doesn't hang so much as it composes itself in the air — three graduated rings of light, 40, 60 and 80 centimetres across, suspended at staggered heights from a single black canopy. The effect reads less like a fixture and more like a cluster of halos caught mid-float. Above a dining table or in a double-height entryway, it becomes the room's quiet centrepiece: a sculptural gesture that still knows how to disappear into ambient light after dark.
Faceted Light, Warmly Diffused
Each ring is built from matte black iron wrapped around a continuous channel of faceted, crystal-effect acrylic. The LED runs the full circumference, so the light doesn't pool at fixture points — it traces an unbroken line of soft, sparkling illumination around each ring. Off, the rings hold their own as dark, architectural circles. Lit, they turn into something closer to jewellery for the ceiling.
A Mode for Every Mood
Maelrix comes in four ways to light a room. Choose a fixed Cool White or Warm White for a single, dependable glow controlled from your wall switch. Or step up to the Remote Dimmable version, which shifts continuously from warm 2700K amber to crisp 6000K daylight at the press of a button. The App + Remote Dimmable version goes further still, pairing full colour-temperature control with brightness dimming from your phone or the included remote — so the same fixture can host a dinner party at 2700K and a Sunday morning at full daylight white.
Fits the Room, Not the Other Way Around
The suspension cords adjust up to 120 cm, so the three rings can be set to clear a dining table, drop lower over a console, or hover just below a high ceiling. At 100W combined output, Maelrix comfortably lights 15 to 30 square metres — enough for a full dining or living room, not just the table beneath it.
Considered Down to the Canopy
Every visible part is finished in the same matte black as the rings themselves, down to the compact ceiling canopy, so the hardware reads as intentional rather than incidental. Installation is straightforward: a single ceiling mount, adjustable cords, and a fixture built to run on universal 90–260V current — ready for the room as soon as it's hung.
