DESCRIPTION
The form that never dates
The lantern cage pendant is one of the oldest recurring forms in interior lighting — found in Georgian hallways, Moroccan riads, converted New York lofts, and Provençal farmhouses alike. Daelston takes this form and reduces it to its pure geometry: a tapered cage of square-section forged iron bars, with candelabra arms rising from a central column. It is entirely legible, entirely honest about what it is.
Two Silhouettes, Two Scales
Daelston comes in two forms: the classic Square cage — available in black, matte silver, or antique gold — and an elongated Rectangular cage for islands and long tables, offered in black or antique gold. Each shape comes in two scales: a 4-candle version, compact and ideal for entryways, stairwells, and smaller dining tables, and a 6-candle version, built for double-height spaces, kitchen islands, or a long farmhouse table.
The candle illusion
The candelabra arms hold standard E14 candle bulbs — visible through the open cage, the wiring and hardware left honestly on show. Pair with frosted or amber filament E14 bulbs to lean further into the quiet, incandescent quality the form promises.
Three Warmths of Light
The included bulbs carry a built-in three-step colour switch — cycle through warm white, natural white, and daylight simply by turning the power off and back on, so the room can move from a soft candlelit dinner to a brighter, clearer light without changing a bulb.
