Convex is a wide glass dome, its surface covered in a regular pattern of hammered dimples — like the surface of still water just as the first drops arrive. The texture refracts the light source within, scattering it across the room in hundreds of soft points. The white diffuser beneath provides even downward illumination while the glass above does the atmospheric work.
