The Cage as Architecture

The shade of the Vexion is built from powder-coated iron rods welded into a three-dimensional geometric form — a truncated cube that catches light from every angle. Unlike opaque shades that direct light downward, the open cage allows the bulb to project in all directions, filling the ceiling plane with warm, omnidirectional light. Works with Your Bulb Choice

The Vexion is E27 socket, compatible with any standard globe or filament bulb up to 60W. For the most authentic industrial aesthetic, a large G95 amber filament bulb (4W–8W LED equivalent) works beautifully — the warm glow filters through the cage rods and fills the room with a honeyed, diffused light. For a more contemporary, crisp result, a frosted G80 or G95 LED provides clean, even output without harshness. The fixture is compatible with dimmer switches (dimmer not included), which means you can modulate the light from a bright working glow to a soft ambient warmth as the evening calls for it.

Installation in Minutes

The Vexion mounts directly to a standard ceiling rose via a short barrel connector — no canopy, no pendant cord, no complex assembly. The ceiling plate (approx. Ø 100 mm) covers the junction box neatly. The entire installation takes under 20 minutes with a basic screwdriver and voltage tester. The fixture arrives assembled; you only need to connect the live, neutral, and earth wires. Suitable for flat ceilings from 2.2 m and above.
