Marevaux begins with a single disc of natural off-white travertine — a stone laid down over millennia, then cut and finished by hand. No two discs are ever quite the same: subtle pitting, faint veining and soft tonal shifts remain visible on the surface, a quiet reminder that this is geology, not manufacturing.
Light From the Edge
Rather than shining outward, the glow spills quietly from a hidden channel along the lower curve of the stone — a warm, low-wattage accent rather than a source of task light. It reads less like a fixture and more like a sliver of sunset caught inside solid stone.
A Considered Silhouette
A two-tone block of solid wood — dark walnut on one face, pale oak on the other — sits above the disc like a keystone, anchoring the cord and giving the piece its quiet architectural rhythm. The braided cord runs 170 cm and can be shortened to suit the space.
Quietly Scaled
At just 12 cm in diameter and 15 cm tall, Marevaux is built for intimacy rather than impact — a bedside glow, a hallway punctuation mark, a soft accent beside a reading chair. Hang it singly, or repeat it in a row along a corridor or stairwell.
