A Lantern, Reimagined
Kaliva takes its cue from the classic lantern—the kind that once lit entryways and carriage porches—and distills it into something quieter and more considered. A cylinder of clear glass sits inside a brushed brass cage, open enough to let the light spill freely, structured enough to feel architectural rather than ornamental.
Brass and Glass, Nothing Extra
The frame is solid brass with a warm, brushed finish that will only deepen with age. The glass is clear and uninterrupted, chosen so nothing dilutes the light or the view of the three candle-style bulbs suspended at its center. A rope-wrapped rod carries the fixture down from the ceiling rose, a small textile detail that softens all that brass and glass.
Three Points of Warm Light
Kaliva holds three E14 candelabra bulbs (not included), arranged in a tight cluster that reads like candlelight without the upkeep. Left bare behind the glass, they cast a warm, flickering-adjacent glow—intimate rather than bright, built for spaces where atmosphere matters more than lumens.
Compact, Considered Proportions
At 20 cm in diameter and 38 cm in height, Kaliva is sized for the in-between spaces of a home—the ones that need presence without demanding a grand scale. It suits rooms of roughly 3–5 m², the kind of footprint where a single, well-placed fixture does all the work.
