Tessora takes its shape from something ancient and instinctive — the teardrop, the gourd, the woven basket passed down through generations of hand craft. Suspended from a slender cord, its tapered wooden crown gives way to a body of open rattan weave, wide at the belly and narrowing gently toward the base. It is a shape that feels less designed than grown.

Hand-Woven, Never Mass-Produced

Each shade is woven by hand from natural rattan fiber, in a diamond lattice that catches shadow and light in equal measure. No two weaves are ever perfectly identical — a quiet reminder that this is craft, not production. The texture rewards a second look, whether the pendant hangs still in daylight or turns slowly above a draft from an open window.

Light Through an Open Weave

Fitted with a neutral white LED source (bulb not included, standard E27 base), Tessora doesn't cast light so much as filter it. The open weave scatters a warm, dappled glow across ceilings and walls, softening a room the way lantern light does — inviting, never clinical. Left unlit, the shade still holds its own as a sculptural object.

A Solid Wood Cap, Finished by Hand

Where the weave meets the ceiling, a solid wood cap in a rich walnut tone anchors the design — a deliberate contrast of hard and soft, smooth and textured. It's a detail found on furniture, not fixtures, and it's what elevates Tessora from "lamp" to "object."

Two Sizes, One Quiet Statement

Tessora comes in two proportions: a compact 25cm version (Ø25 × H50cm) suited to bedside corners, reading nooks or a run of three above a kitchen island, and a more commanding 35cm version (Ø35 × H70cm) built to anchor a dining table or entryway on its own. Both share the same silhouette — only the scale changes.
