DESCRIPTION
A Silhouette Cast in Two Tones
Petrivox takes its shape from a single, generous form — a softly squared globe of blown glass that reads as sculpture as much as light source. The upper half is finished in a warm, mirror-like copper cast; the lower half dissolves into clear, saturated colour. The result is a pendant that changes character with every angle it's viewed from, and with every hour of the day.
Blown Glass, Warmed by Copper
The copper-mirrored crown isn't paint — it's a reflective coating fused to the glass, catching ambient light and giving the piece a sense of weight and craft above the exposed filament. Below it, the glass runs clear and tinted, letting the room's own light pass through and pool softly on the surfaces beneath.
The Glow of an Exposed Filament
At the centre of each shade sits a single exposed-filament bulb, visible through the glass rather than hidden behind it. It's a deliberate choice — the kind of detail that turns a light fixture into a small piece of theatre, whether hung solo over a reading chair or in a row above a long table.
Blue or Green — Choose Your Mood
Petrivox comes in two considered colourways. The Blue leans oceanic and cool, at home in spaces built around calm, contemporary tones. The Green reads earthier and more botanical, pairing naturally with wood, brass and greenery. Both share the same copper crown, so the two can also be mixed above a kitchen island or dining table for a layered, gallery-like effect.
Built for Everyday Use
Beneath the glass, a compact iron fitting holds an E27 socket on an adjustable black cord, so the drop height can be set to suit the ceiling and the table below. A round canopy keeps the installation clean and unobtrusive, letting the glass do the talking.
