The Articulated Cylinder

Ybelindra's slim aluminium tubes can be set at any angle from vertical — pointing straight down or rotating outward up to 30 degrees, creating a branching sculptural cluster when multiple heads are installed together. Each tube houses an integrated LED at its lower tip, projecting a focused spot of light precisely where it is directed. The effect, particularly with three or more heads arranged at different angles, is somewhere between a Calder mobile and a lighting installation.

Ceiling or Track

The ceiling version mounts directly to a single ceiling canopy; the track version allows the heads to slide along a rail for maximum flexibility in repositioning over artwork, countertops, or reading areas. Short tubes are more concentrated in composition; long tubes bring the light source closer to the surface below.

Warm, Neutral, or Cool

Each fixture is available in a choice of colour temperature — Warm White for a relaxed living space, Neutral White for a kitchen or workspace, or Cool White for a crisper, gallery-like effect — so the light can be tuned to the room rather than the other way around.
