A Form That Endures
Corvan draws from the long tradition of the Japanese paper lantern — a softly domed shade of hand-applied rice paper stretched over a coiled wire ribcage, resting on a black wire tripod. Lit from within, it turns into a glowing volume with no visible source, no hard edge — only warm, diffused light spilling across the surrounding surface. Each shade folds flat for shipping and opens by hand into its full lantern form, exactly as Akari lamps have for seventy years.
Eight Moods, One Silhouette
Corvan comes in eight colourways. Natural White and Ivory keep the papercraft nearly bare — one left plain, the other traced with a fine knotted motif — for a quiet, sculptural presence. The six colour-blocked versions (Green, Red, Gray, Black, Yellow, Orange) pair a solid hue with a bare-paper crescent and cut graphic windows into the shade, so the lamp reads as a piece of colour-field art by day and a glowing lantern by night. Group two or three across a console or dining table for a still-life in light.
Light You Can Tune
Every Corvan ships with its LED bulb included and glows anywhere from warm 3000K candlelight to a cooler 6500K white. Choose the 3-Tone Touch version to cycle between warm, neutral and cool white with a tap on the cord switch, or step up to the Remote Dimmable version for full-range dimming and colour-temperature control from across the room.
