Velvara is a study in volume and colour: three wine-red lacquered spheres stacked vertically, increasing in size toward the base, with a white dome shade sitting on top like punctuation. The glossy lacquer finish gives each sphere a depth and richness that changes under different light conditions — almost purple in shadow, almost garnet in direct light.
