Glass blown into the shape of a temple lantern, tinted the colour of jade — a pendant that carries chinoiserie straight into a modern room.

One Glass, Two Silhouettes

Zarleth blows the same tinted glass into two lantern forms: a fat, fluted pumpkin shape with a gently domed crown, and a slimmer fluted cylinder that reads more like a column of light than a lantern. Both hang from the same antique brass hardware — a decorative canopy above, a finial below — and both use glass thick enough to soften the bulb inside into a warm, textured glow rather than a bare point of light.

Jade Green or Ivory White

Jade Green — translucent celadon glass, the exact colour a piece of jade takes on when lit from within. Available in both the pumpkin and the cylinder shape.
Ivory White — clean, frosted glass in the pumpkin shape only, for a quieter and more classic pendant.

Choose Your Light

Each Zarleth ships with the bulb included and a choice of colour temperature: cool white for a crisper read, warm white for the softest amber glow, or a switchable tri-colour bulb that moves between the two — and a neutral middle tone — at the push of the built-in switch. The circuit is fully dimmable.

Where to Use

In a dining room, where richness comes from material rather than number. In a bedroom, hung low above a nightstand. In a kitchen, in a pair over an island, where the pumpkin shape reads almost like a pair of jade lanterns either side of a doorway. Mix the two silhouettes for a more editorial installation, or keep them identical for symmetry.
