DESCRIPTION
Not carved to impress, but to endure. Travonis begins as a single block of yellow travertine — hand-cut, ground, and polished into a soft dome that carries the stone's own history in its surface: the pits, veins, and pale striations left by centuries underground.
Carved From a Single Stone
No two Travonis shades are identical. Each dome is cut from a whole piece of travertine, its porous surface left honest rather than smoothed away — a texture that catches low light and changes character from morning to evening. This is the opposite of a mass-produced fixture: it is geology, shaped into something that switches on.
Three Skies, One Dome
Beneath the stone, a hand-blown glass globe sets the mood. Milk White glows clean and diffuse, ideal for hallways and reading corners. Saturn warms the room with the marbled amber of a desert sunset. Mercury cools it with soft blue-grey striations, like light through sea glass. Same dome, same craftsmanship — three entirely different atmospheres.
Scaled for the Overlooked Spaces
At just 15cm across and 10cm tall, Travonis was built for the corners larger fixtures ignore — low corridors, closet nooks, compact entryways, the landing at the top of the stairs. It sits close to the ceiling, present without demanding height or headroom.
Warm Light, Honest Materials
A single G9 bulb throws a warm, ambient glow through the glass and stone, softened rather than diffused into blandness. The walnut-toned canopy anchors the piece to the ceiling with quiet confidence, echoing the warmth of the light itself.
