Calveris begins with a simple ambition: a wall light that feels considered from every angle, not just when lit. A slender brass arm extends from a compact backplate and swivels a full 180°, letting the fixture aim its glow exactly where a room needs it — over a headboard, beside a mirror, along a hallway. It is a small gesture of adjustability that makes a permanent fixture feel personal.

Fluted Ceramic, Cast by Hand

The shade is the quiet centerpiece: dense white ceramic, finely fluted from crown to base, a texture that reads as soft pleating in daylight and turns luminous once lit. Ceramic was chosen over glass for its warmth and weight — it diffuses light without glare, casting a gentle, matte glow rather than a hard point of brightness. Paired with a brushed brass fitting, the effect is tactile, textural, and unmistakably considered.

Three Silhouettes, One Sensibility

Calveris is offered in three ceramic silhouettes — a rounded Fluted Globe, a tapered Fluted Dome, and an elongated Fluted Capsule — each sharing the same fluted language but reading differently on the wall. Choose the silhouette that suits the room: the Globe for a softer, more traditional profile, the Dome for something compact and understated, the Capsule for a slightly more sculptural, elongated line.

Fixed Arm or Pendant Cord

Each silhouette can be mounted two ways. Fixed Arm holds the shade rigidly at the end of the swivel arm for a clean, architectural line. Pendant Cord suspends the shade from a braided cord with up to 100cm of adjustment, letting it drop lower for a softer, more relaxed hang — ideal above a nightstand or reading chair.

Japanese Restraint, Everyday Warmth

The design draws on a Japanese sensibility for restraint — nothing applied that doesn't need to be there, every line resolved with intent.
