The Mantaro is a pendant that defies the conventions of ceiling lighting. Its shade — an asymmetric wing of spun iron — curves and drops unevenly on each side, so it reads differently from every angle: a wing caught mid-flight from below, a floating crescent from above. It is less a light fixture than a piece of kinetic sculpture that happens to illuminate a room.

Gold Leaf: The Irreducible Luxury

Look up into the underside of the Black & Gold or White & Gold versions and you find genuine hand-applied gold leaf — not paint, not foil, but sheets of beaten gold pressed by hand onto the curved iron. Every panel is faintly irregular, catching the light differently as you move beneath it. Switched on, the gold amplifies and scatters the glow in a way no painted surface can imitate.

Three Finishes, One Silhouette

Black & Gold reads as sculpture first, light fixture second — the matte black exterior makes the gold-leaf interior feel like a discovery each time the eye lands on it. White & Gold softens the same contrast into something warmer and more residential, suited to rooms built around natural materials. Pure White strips the palette back entirely — a single-tone, quietly architectural object for spaces where the form alone should speak. All three share the identical iron body and asymmetric silhouette; only the finish changes.

The Descending Pin

Below the main wing, a slender rod descends to a small gilded dish — a secondary element that balances the composition off-centre, echoing the arm of a kinetic mobile. At night it casts its own quiet shadow, adding depth to the wall or ceiling beneath.

Each size is available with a fixed Cold White or Warm White integrated LED, or with Tri-Color Dimming — a remote-controlled module (remote included) that shifts smoothly between cool, neutral and warm tones and dims to suit the moment. Fixed-tone versions switch on and off from a standard wall switch; Tri-Color versions add full remote control over both temperature and brightness.
