The Pure Cylinder

The Armex is a tube. There is nothing more to its form than that — a clean aluminium cylinder, a suspension cable, and a spot LED at the bottom. What makes it remarkable is not complexity but restraint: the tube is proportioned with care, the finish is precise, and the light it produces is focused, directional, and exact. Four Tube Lengths

The Armex is available in four tube lengths: 200 mm, 300 mm, 400 mm, and 500 mm. Each length is suspended on a 1000 mm cable, giving a total pendant length of 1200 mm to 1500 mm before any cord adjustment. The length affects not only the visual character of the pendant but also the quality of the light: a shorter tube produces a wider, more diffuse beam; a longer tube narrows the spread and intensifies the focus. When the Armex is used in a cluster — which is its most dramatic application — mixing tube lengths creates a staggered waterfall effect that transforms the ceiling into a composed lighting installation.

Three Finishes

The Armex comes in Black, White, and Gold. Black gives the tube a graphic, architectural quality — highly visible against light ceilings, disappearing against dark ones. It is the most contemporary of the three. White integrates into the ceiling plane, making the pendant feel lighter and more spatial — ideal for rooms where the light itself should dominate rather than the fitting. Focused LED Illumination

The integrated LED at the base of the tube produces a tight, directional spot. Wattage varies by length: 7 W for the 200 and 300 mm tubes, 12 W for the 400 and 500 mm models. The light is dimmable in all configurations, allowing a single room to shift from full task lighting to subdued ambient. The colour temperature is warm white — appropriate for both residential and hospitality settings. The tube is rated for voltages between 90 and 260 V, making it universally compatible.

Cluster Installations

The Armex is designed to work as a system. One tube over a desk or bedside table is a precise, purposeful statement. Three tubes at staggered heights over a kitchen island is a well-established and highly effective configuration. Twelve or more tubes at varying heights — a full installation — produces a forest of light that is both dramatic and precise. Because each tube is independent, height, spacing, and grouping can all be adjusted at installation. A cluster of Armex pendants costs a fraction of what bespoke multi-point lighting systems charge while achieving a comparable visual result.
