Description
A Glow Inside a Glass Bubble
Banello's shade is two domes of glass nested one inside the other. The inner dome is opal white and turns the bulb into a soft, even glow with no glare. The outer dome is clear, amber or smoke grey glass, rounded like a jelly mould, and catches the reflections of the room around it. A brushed brass disc closes the top.
Three Glass Tones
Clear for a light, almost invisible shade that lets the white dome float. Amber for a honey-coloured, slightly retro warmth over a wooden table. Smoke grey for a deeper, more graphic look in a dark or contemporary interior.
Five Configurations
The single pendant comes in Ø25 cm (14 cm high), for a bedside, an entrance or a small table, or in Ø39 cm (22.5 cm high), large enough to light a dining table on its own. For an island or a long table, choose two Ø25 cm shades on a 40 cm brass bar, three Ø25 cm shades on an 80 cm bar, or two Ø39 cm shades on an 80 cm bar.
Light Included
Each shade takes an E27 LED bulb, supplied in the light colour you choose: warm white for a cosy evening atmosphere, cool white for a bright, crisp light in a kitchen or a workspace.
Installation
Hardwired to the ceiling and switched from your wall switch. The shade hangs from a rigid brass and black rod (20 cm, or 30 cm on the Ø39 cm models), and the cable adjusts up to 200 cm so you set the exact height above the table. Works on 90 to 260 V.
