A stone vessel, lit from within — the table lamp that looks like it was excavated.

The Farlux Object

Farlux is a rough cylindrical column of travertine stone — irregular in surface, pitted, tonal — set at a slight cant, with its top open to reveal a warm light within. The stone is opaque; the light does not pass through. Instead, it pools upward from the interior and spills out the open top as a halo on the ceiling above. The exterior remains as stone: textured, geological, ancient-feeling.

The Detail

Natural travertine stone exterior — each piece unique in veining, texture and tone
Open top emits a soft upward glow, best with a warm white E27 bulb
Warm twisted textile cord — adds artisan quality
Slight cant angle — intentional, not imperfection

Where to Use

On a side table in a raw interior. On a shelf in a study where one object should feel ancient beside things that are very new. Farlux is for rooms that collect things found rather than made.
