A Dome That Moves With the Room

Most pendant lights ask you to accept a single, fixed silhouette. The Utaelorn refuses that constraint. Its dome shade is mounted on a pivot within a slender brass-toned ring, free to rotate and tilt into multiple positions — angled forward, tucked back, split open, or facing squarely down. The result is a fixture that adapts to the moment: intimate and low over a dinner for two, open and bright for a gathering, sculptural and closed when the room simply wants to look beautiful.

Three Finishes, One Icon

Drawing on mid-century Scandinavian design language, the Utaelorn is built from painted iron in three considered finishes — crisp white, matte black, and warm brushed gold — each paired with the same polished brass-tone ring. The contrast between the shade’s soft matte body and the ring’s warm shine gives the fixture a jewellery-like presence, whether suspended above a kitchen island or beside a headboard.

Directional Light, By Design

Because the dome rotates independently of the ring, you control where the light falls. Angle it downward for focused light over a table, or open it outward to let the glow wash softly across the ceiling and walls. It is a small mechanical gesture that changes the entire mood of a room — no rewiring, no tools, just a turn of the hand.

At 28 cm in diameter and 30 cm in height, the Utaelorn holds its own as a statement piece without overwhelming smaller spaces. The suspension cord runs 1.5 m as standard and can be shortened or extended to suit your ceiling height, making it equally at home above a dining table, a kitchen counter, or a nightstand.
