Travertine, Illuminated

Ecelvix is a pendant made from travertine — the same stone used in Roman aqueducts, Milanese piazzas, and every luxury hotel lobby that has ever taken itself seriously. Here it is formed into a tall cylinder, just 6 cm in diameter, its walls thin enough for the internal LED to push warm light through the stone's natural veining, the pores and strata of the travertine glowing amber from within.

25 cm or 35 cm

The 25 cm cylinder is understated — a single beam of stone light over a bedside or a kitchen worktop. The 35 cm version commands more presence; hang two together at different heights over a dining table for an effect that is both geological and contemporary.
