Torvaith takes its cues from the golden age of German modernist design—an era that believed a desk lamp could be as sculptural as it was useful. The domed shade curves overhead like a held breath, balanced on a slender chrome arc that arcs down to a weighted circular base. It is a form that has barely changed in a century, because it never needed to.
Gloss and Chrome, In Conversation
The shade is finished in a deep, high-gloss lacquer that catches light along its curve, while the arm and base are dressed in polished chrome for contrast. The pairing feels precise rather than decorative—two materials doing exactly what they're best at, one holding colour, the other holding light.
Light That Bends to the Task
The arm pivots at its base and tilts at the shade, letting you angle the glow exactly where the work is—a page, a keyboard, a late-night notebook. Underneath, the dome throws a focused pool of light down and forward, leaving the room around it in soft shadow.
Dimmable, By Design
A stepless dimmer sits at the pivot joint, so the lamp moves fluidly from a bright working white to a low, ambient glow without ever leaving the desk. The integrated LED module runs warm at around 3000K, close enough to candlelight to feel considered rather than clinical.

Torvaith is offered in Black, White, and Red—each in the same glossy lacquer, each reading slightly differently depending on the room. Black disappears into a study; White sits quietly on a marble console; Red turns the lamp into the room's focal point. All three share the same proportions: a 28.5 cm shade, a compact 18 cm base, and a 42.5 cm standing height.
