A Shade Shaped by Movement
Dominaire takes its form from a single gesture: a wide disc of fabric, pinched and folded until it ripples like a leaf caught mid-fall. No two angles read the same—from below it opens like a flower, from across the room it curves like a wave frozen in fabric. It is sculpture first, light source second.
Hand-Pleated Fabric, Precision Diffuser
Beneath the sculptural silhouette, technique does the quiet work. The shade is finished in finely pleated fabric stretched over an iron frame, radiating fine pleats from the light source outward. A PMMA diffuser sits at the centre, softening the bulb into an even, shadow-free glow rather than a single hot point.
Pendant or Semi-Flush, Your Call
Dominaire adapts to the ceiling it's given. Choose the pendant version, suspended on an adjustable 150 cm cable for dining tables, kitchen islands, and stairwells with height to spare—or the semi-flush mount, which brings the same sculptural presence directly against a lower ceiling, ideal for bedrooms and reading corners.
One Layer or Two
The single-layer shade keeps the silhouette light and open, letting the pleats catch the light on their own. The double-layer configuration stacks a second, smaller wave beneath the first, adding depth and a more dramatic play of shadow—a quiet way to scale the statement up without scaling up the room.
Warm, Neutral, or Cool—On Your Terms
Every Dominaire ships with your choice of light control: a tri-tone bulb switched between warm, neutral, and cool white at the wall, or a remote-dimmable bulb for stepless control from the sofa or the bed. Either way, the fixture runs on a universal 90–260V circuit, so it's ready wherever it lands.
Sized for the Room You Have
Available at Ø43 cm for a focused pool of light over a nightstand or reading chair, or Ø60 cm for a fuller presence over a dining table or open living space. Both sizes share the same pleated construction and the same quiet confidence.
