The Torvyn takes its shape from a technique older than the machines that make most modern lighting: natural-fibre cord, hand-wound layer over layer around a light frame until it holds its own form. What emerges is a tapered shade that feels handmade because it is — no two shades wind in quite the same rhythm.
Two Forms, One Language
Choose the faceted profile for a sharper, more architectural read, or the rounded silhouette for something softer and more classically lantern-like. Both stand 16 cm tall and finish at a generous 20 cm base, so either reads confidently whether hung solo or in a row of three.
Colour Without Losing the Grain
Available in ocean blue or golden yellow for the faceted shade, with a deep umber brown added for the rounded one. Colour is worked into the cord itself rather than printed on, so the woven texture stays visible through every finish.
Warm, Diffused, Considered
Light passes through the woven cord rather than around it, arriving softened and dappled instead of direct — the kind of glow suited to a dinner table, a reading corner, or a hallway you want to feel inviting rather than lit. Pair it with an E27 bulb of your choice to set the exact mood.
Fits Where It's Hung
Above a dining table in a cluster, alone over a bedside corner, or marking the start of a hallway — the Torvyn's compact footprint and adjustable drop make it as easy to place as it is to look at.
Built In, Not Bolted On
Comes complete with an E27 ceiling socket, in-line touch switch and ceiling canopy — wire it in and it's ready. Compatible with standard E27 LED bulbs (bulb sold separately). Light assembly on arrival, no tools beyond a screwdriver.
