Saturn, at 1:100 scale. Saturnira is a conversation starter that also lights your room.

The Saturnira That Lit the Sixties

The oversized spherical floor lamp is one of the definitive objects of 1960s Italian radical design — playful, formally rigorous, and deeply committed to the idea that furniture could be joyful. Saturnira revisits it: a large orange globe encircled by a cream equatorial ring, raised on three chrome legs that give the composition a sense of levitation.

A Statement at Floor Level

Most floor lamps aspire to be invisible. Saturnira aspires to be noticed. Positioned in a corner or beside a mid-century sofa, it anchors the room with colour and form while providing a diffused ambient glow that reads warmer than any ceiling fixture.

The orange exterior and cream interior ring create a warm, indirect ambient glow
Pair with a Tulip chair or other 1970s-inspired furniture for maximum period coherence
Functions as a work of art when switched off — the saturnira and ring are sculptural in themselves
