The Felon takes its cue from traditional Japanese basketry and reshapes it into something unmistakably contemporary. Every strand of rattan is hand-woven around a steel frame, built up in overlapping layers that catch the light and cast it back in soft, dappled patterns. It's less a lampshade than a piece of textile architecture suspended from the ceiling.

The Dome Silhouette

Rounded at the shoulder and gently tapered at the neck, the Felon's bulb-shaped dome gives it a quiet, grounded presence — substantial without ever feeling heavy. Hung low over a table or centred above an entryway, it reads as a considered object first and a light fixture second.

Three Sizes, One Sensibility

Available at 40cm, 50cm and 60cm in diameter, the Felon scales from an intimate accent over a bedside or reading nook to a genuine architectural statement above a dining table or open-plan living space. Each size keeps the same proportions and the same handwoven density — only the impact changes.

Light, Tuned to the Room

Choose the light temperature that matches your space: Warm White for an intimate, golden glow, Neutral White for a balanced everyday light, Cool White for crisp clarity, or the Tri-Color switch to move between all three depending on the hour. The included E27 LED bulb is fitted and ready to install.

Built to Live With

The cord is adjustable up to 150cm, so the Felon can be hung high as a soft ambient glow or lowered as a true focal point. A ceiling canopy is included, and the fixture runs on a universal 90–260V circuit. Natural rattan develops a deeper, richer patina with time — the kind of material that looks better for having been lived with.
