Light That Looks Like Liquid

The Aronex defies the conventions of pendant design by starting with disorder. Its glass shade is sculpted in the tradition of the great melt-glass ateliers — the surface buckled, folded, and twisted during the forming process, leaving each globe uniquely irregular. When lit from within, the metallic interior coating fractures the light into hundreds of moving reflections, casting a web of warm luminosity across walls and ceilings. Available in nine colours and five diameters, the Aronex is as much sculpture as it is light source.

Nine Colours, Nine Atmospheres

The Aronex's colour palette spans the full range of mood and material. Gold captures the warmth of aged brass; Silver brings a crisp, mercury-like luminosity. Rose Gold drifts between bronze and blush. Green evokes oxidised copper; Blue the depths of still water. Smoked Gray is the quiet choice — understated in daylight, dramatic by night. Violet and Pink introduce unexpected editorial softness, while Amber burns with the warmth of fossilised resin lit from within. Each finish is applied to the interior of the glass, giving the exterior a subtle translucency that shifts through the day.

Five Sizes: From Intimate to Monumental

A 15 cm Aronex sits like a jewel above a bedside table or reading chair — compact, precious, perfectly scaled. A 50 cm specimen commands any double-height entry or dining room, its irregular surface catching light from across the room. Between these extremes, the 20, 30, and 40 cm versions address the full range of domestic spaces. Mixing sizes within a single cluster installation — three at staggered heights over a dining table, or five cascading through a stairwell — creates an effect that is at once spontaneous and considered.

The Imperfect Made Perfect

The Aronex's surface is a study in controlled irregularity. No two pendants are identical: the buckled glass traps reflections of its environment, distorting and multiplying them across the room as the observer moves. In daylight, the metallic coating has a muted, almost geological quality. At dusk, when the filament within comes alive, the shade becomes luminous — the metallic surface glowing from within like a small planet seen from orbit. It is precisely this unpredictability that makes the Aronex so arresting.

Installation & Compatibility

Each Aronex pendant arrives with a 120 cm suspension cable, adjustable up to 150 cm, terminating in a clean ceiling canopy. The E27 socket accepts any standard LED or filament bulb up to the rated wattage for each size. For the warmest result, we recommend a filament LED at 2200 K; for a cooler, more contemporary effect, a 3000 K LED. The pendant is rated IP20 for dry indoor use. Ceiling rose hardware and installation instructions are included.

Where Aronex Belongs

The Aronex is at home in interiors that embrace texture, imperfection, and material richness. A Gold or Amber Aronex anchors a mid-century dining room with warm authority; a Silver or Smoked Gray version above a concrete kitchen island keeps the palette restrained while adding visual complexity. In bedrooms, the smaller 15 and 20 cm versions serve as sculptural bedside pendants that transform the nightstand entirely. The Violet and Pink colourways perform especially well in spaces where colour is used deliberately — against sage green walls, warm white plaster, or dark-painted joinery.

Cluster & Mix Guidance

The Aronex rewards experimentation. A single pendant is a statement; a cluster of three becomes an installation. When grouping multiple Aronexs, choose a consistent colour family — three Golds at different heights for coherence — or contrast deliberately: one Silver flanked by a Green and an Amber for an editorial palette composition. For stairwells and double-height spaces, odd numbers (three or five pendants) tend to read more naturally than even groupings. Vary the drop heights by 15–25 cm between pendants for the most dynamic effect.
