The Velori globe — 22.7 cm wide, hand-tinted, blown into a fluted spherical form — continues that tradition in a thoroughly contemporary setting. When illuminated, the tinted glass casts a wash of colour on the surrounding wall that no plain lamp can replicate.

Every Velori globe, whatever its colour, shares the same soft vertical fluting — a ribbed texture reminiscent of a peeled citrus fruit.
