A Moon Woven From Light

Some fixtures illuminate a room; the Csaelinth composes one. Its crescent moon shade is hand-woven from fine aluminium wire over an iron frame, built up in overlapping layers until the form holds its shape without ever losing its lightness. Three star-shaped pendants, woven in the same open technique, drift beneath on slender cords — each one catching the glow from within and scattering it back out in soft, dandelion-like bursts. By day it reads as pure sculpture. By night, it becomes something closer to a small constellation, suspended just above eye line.

Two Temperatures, One Mood

Light temperature changes everything about how a piece like this feels. Choose Warm White for an amber, candlelit glow that softens a bedroom or nursery into something calmer at the end of the day, or Cool White for a crisper, more contemporary light that suits a hallway, living space, or reading corner. Both temperatures pass through the same woven metal shade, so the shadow-play on ceiling and wall stays just as intricate either way.

Three Ways to Hang It

The Csaelinth comes in three sizes, each suited to a different kind of space. The Large Pendant is the statement version — a 35 cm wide, 40 cm tall moon on a full 100 cm adjustable drop, ideal above a bed, a dining table, or open stairwell. The Medium Pendant scales the same silhouette down to a 17 cm span, better suited to a reading nook, a corner of a nursery, or anywhere a lower ceiling calls for restraint. The Flush Mount forgoes the long drop altogether, sitting close to the ceiling at just 32 cm total height — the natural choice for hallways, stairwells, and rooms where headroom is at a premium.

Woven by Hand, Built to Glow

Each Csaelinth conceals up to five G4 bulb holders within its moon shade and star pendants — one composition, several points of light, working together rather than competing. Bulbs are sold separately, giving you the freedom to choose your own wattage and finish. Installation is straightforward: a compact ceiling canopy, a screw-fit connection, and, on the pendant sizes, a cord you can trim to the exact drop your room calls for. As with any hardwired fixture, we recommend a qualified electrician handle the final connection.
