The Form of Light Itself
Morvain is built around a single, considered gesture: a broad architectural disc, its surface catching ambient light like the rim of a coin. At its center sits a polished sphere — mirror-bright, almost liquid — that turns a simple wall fixture into a small, sculptural event. It reads as an object first, a light source second.
A Halo, Not a Beam
The LED is fully integrated behind the sphere, tracing a soft ring of warm light around its edge rather than casting a hard beam. The effect is closer to an eclipse than a lamp — a glowing rim, a dark center, and a wash of ambient warmth across the wall behind it. Left permanently on low, it behaves less like task lighting and more like a piece of quiet, living art.
Two Finishes, One Silhouette
Morvain is available in two considered pairings: a muted green disc with a chrome sphere, and a soft white disc with the same mirrored chrome center. Both share the identical form and the same warm glow — the choice is simply a matter of which reads best against your wall.
Available in Four Sizes
From an intimate 30cm to a commanding 60cm, Morvain scales to suit a bedside wall, a hallway run, or a full statement piece above a console or headboard. Every size shares the same proportions and the same quiet presence — only the scale changes.
Considered Installation
Morvain is hardwired and wall-mounted, with a self-contained driver that runs on universal 90–260V current. The light is switched with a simple touch control built into the fixture — no separate switch plate required, no dimmer to fuss over. It is designed to be installed once and enjoyed for years.
