Velindros begins with a piece of engineering, not decoration: a double-hinged, fully articulating arm that extends, tilts and swivels until the light lands exactly where it is needed. Pull it forward over a favourite armchair, angle it low across a nightstand, or fold it flat against the wall when not in use. The joints move with a satisfying mechanical resistance, the kind of hardware built to be adjusted daily for years without loosening.
Ribbed Glass, Cut for Warmth
Beneath the arm sits a dome of ribbed prismatic glass, its vertical facets catching and softening the bulb's glow into a hundred small refractions. Lit, it reads as a lantern; unlit, it reads as sculpture. The exposed bulb beneath the glass nods to the workshops and reading rooms that first popularised this silhouette, updated here with cleaner joinery and a tighter, more considered profile.
Four Finishes, One Silhouette
The same honest form is offered in four distinct metal finishes: matte Black, warm Brass, deeper Antique Brass, and a darker, patinated Bronze. Each shifts the fixture's character without altering its geometry, so the choice comes down to the room it will inhabit: crisp and graphic in black, soft and lived-in in bronze.
A Fixture That Reads the Room
Mounted bedside, it becomes a considered reading light that swings away when not needed. Beside a favourite chair, it turns a corner of the living room into a place to linger. In an entryway, it works as a quiet architectural accent. Its reach and jointed arm mean one fixture adapts to several roles across the home.
Built From Iron, Brass and Glass
The arm and wall plate are formed in solid iron for rigidity, with brass and aluminium fittings at each joint and socket. The fixture takes a single E27 bulb, sold separately, so you choose the exact warmth of the glow. We recommend a warm white 2700-3000K bulb for the classic filament-lit look shown here. Installation is wall-mounted and hardwired, with a universal 90-260V input.
