A Lantern, Reimagined for the Home

The Cavrel borrows its silhouette from the traveller's lantern — an open iron frame, a carrying handle, a glow held gently within — and translates it into a piece built for the console table, not the campsite. It is a light with a shape you notice before you notice it is a light.

Ribbed Glass, Warm Brass

A band of fluted glass catches and scatters the light at the top, while a smooth frosted globe holds a softer glow below. Between them, a ring of brushed brass marks the transition — a small, considered detail that keeps the whole piece from feeling like a single gesture repeated twice.

A Glow That Settles a Room

Switched on, the Cavrel casts light in two registers at once: a warm flicker through the ribbed glass above, and a steady, even wash through the opal globe below. It is the kind of light that makes a room feel inhabited rather than simply lit.

Freestanding, Wherever You Need It

There is no wiring, no drilling, no ceiling plate to align. The Cavrel simply stands — on a nightstand, a sideboard, the corner of a desk — and plugs in wherever the outlet happens to be. Its compact iron frame and carrying handle mean it moves as easily as the mood of a room changes.

Built to Last

The frame is iron, finished in a deep matte black; the accents are brass. Together they carry the weight of the glass without ever feeling heavy in the hand. The Cavrel ships without a bulb, so the exact tone of its light — candle-warm or crisp and clear — is entirely up to you.
